Metal Insert Preparation:

Single-Color Resin Injection:

Controlled Cooling & Ejection:
Following the injection, the part is cooled to stabilize the polymer around the metal, ensuring no thermal stress, before being safely ejected from the mold.

Our DFM approach for insert molding focuses on maximizing the integrity of the plastic-to-metal interface:
- Secure Anchorage: The metal inserts are designed with knurling or undercuts to provide mechanical interlock with the surrounding plastic, ensuring exceptional pull-out and torque resistance.
- Optimized Wall Thickness: We carefully calibrate the plastic wall thickness surrounding the inserts to balance structural strength and cooling uniformity, preventing sink marks or stress cracking.
- High-Tolerance Alignment: The mold tooling is machined to micron-level precision to ensure that all mounting holes and integrated metal features align perfectly with your final assembly requirements.
