The fabrication of these access control housings is performed using high-precision single-color injection molding machines. To meet the quality standards for commercial security hardware, engineering-grade polymers such as UV-stabilized ABS or flame-retardant PC/ABS are used to ensure long-term performance. The material is dried and injected into the mold under strictly optimized thermal conditions to achieve a uniform, high-quality surface texture without flow lines, which is crucial for maintaining a clean appearance once mounted on building walls.

Designing a professional security enclosure requires precise DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and high-tolerance tooling:

• Aesthetic & Ergonomic Contouring: The mold cavity is machined with a stylized curve and integrated LED indicator ports, ensuring the finished component is both functional and visually sophisticated.
• Internal Mounting Bosses: The tool includes precise inserts that form internal screw bosses and wiring management channels, allowing for efficient mounting of circuit boards and cable strain relief.
• Secure Snap-Fit Design: The mold features complex sliders to form integrated snap-fit mechanisms, enabling the cover to be securely attached to the base while remaining accessible for future maintenance.

Following the single-color molding process, the enclosures undergo rigorous inspection to confirm that all aperture dimensions for the LED indicators match design specifications. Secondary operations may include the CNC drilling of cable entry points, the installation of threaded brass inserts for secure wall-mounting, and the application of anti-static coatings to protect internal RFID circuitry.
